Dallas: DFW home sales in 2013 were up almost 20% from 2012, with prices up more than 10%. Biggest increases were in Oak Lawn, Oak Cliff, North Dallas, Mesquite and Irving. Examples: Area 11 (North Dallas/Preston Hollow) 872 sales +23%, median price +12% ($214/sf); Area 12 (East Dallas) 2,544 sales +15%, median price +14% ($149/sf); Area 17 (Oak Lawn) 97 sales -1%, median price +8% ($332/sf).
