The NAR reports existing home sales in October were up 10.9% from a year earlier and was the 16th consecutive month of year-over-year gains.

North Texas home and condo sales rose 29% in October, biggest increase in 3 years and the 16th consecutive month of gain. Pending sales are up 20%. Year to date in 2012, area agents have sold 17% more homes through MLS than last year.
