In 1980 Doris Jacobs began her real estate career with Erie Rawlin's Realtors. For each of her first seven years Doris was a top producer. Her first listing, one of the largest and most exclusive properties in Highland Park, has since been listed and sold by Doris several times over.

In 1987, Doris joined the real estate brokerage of Allie Beth Allman. Doris has consistently been among the top 20 agents in all of Dallas County, an honor awarded by the Greater Dallas Board of Realtors. She was also elected to the company Advisory Committee based on leadership, sales ability, and volume production.

In 1992, Doris' husband, Jack Jacobs, joined her at Allie Beth Allman, ultimately creating the number one real estate team in the county. Jack, owner/president of multi-million dollar corporations for 32 years, has a degree in finance with expertise in accounting and finance. Together, Doris and Jack, have been the Top Team Producers, Volume Pinnacle Producers for company production, and have had the highest volume listed and the most units listed.

Doris has consistently been the Top Producer for the Greater Dallas Board of Realtors and has also repeatedly claimed the Pinnacle Producer for company production

In 1994, Doris was awarded the esteemed position of Vice President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She is currently the Top Producer for Allie Beth Allman. She is also a Certified Residential Specialist with 19 successful years, specializing in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow areas. Doris is also part of the nation's elite 1% of top producing Realtors. Doris is also a member of two networking groups: Masters of Residential Real Estate and The Network Connection.

Her community involvement is equally impressive as her real estate career. Doris is presently the President of the National Asthma Association and has many board memberships, including the Dallas Opera, the Dallas Arboretum, the Northwood Institute, the Dallas Symphony, Scroll Society for the Dallas Symphony, La Fiesta, AWARE, and the Board of the International Society. She is a veteran resident of the Park Cities for over 25 years and attends the Highland Park Presbyterian Church, where she is the Circle Leader for Women of the Church. Her school involvement includes the Lamplighter Parents Club and the Hockaday Parents Club. She continues to be a proud supporter of the Highland Park Independent School District.
